A little bit of everything…

My Plannerd Week 38

I bought some fun new goodies last week. I know, shame on me. I broke my self-imposed spending freeze. The good news is it wasn’t very much money. I found the elusive Dollar Tree washi tape and some stickers. I just had to splurge.

I broke my vow of not spending. Got 3 rolls of decorative tape & stickers at the Dollar Tree!

The stickers are just too cute. I’m considering doing “themed” weeks for awhile. This week’s theme was pink and cute. I even had a pink Hello Kitty sticky note covering part of this spread. Aren’t the little panda, fox and hedgehog stickers adorable? I just happened to have my Hi-Tec-C 0.4 out and figured, what the heck – PINK WEEK! (I believe that is the Sakura color.)

I'm back on Instagram. Follow me!!!

If you’d like to follow me, my username on Instagram is JustDiySara. I know… I left but it’s annoying not seeing the full captions when people on Twitter post Instagram photos. Perhaps that’s a silly reason but I’m back nonetheless.

Take care and be well.

My Plannerd Week 33

My Plannerd Week 34

My apologies for not posting last week. I picked up a Monday at work which threw off my usual routine. Today I visited my dentist for some numbing, drilling and filling. I’m taking it easy. Lots of rest.

My ankle surgery will be October 30th. I’m trying not to be anxious. I’ll take it a day a time. Slow and steady.

Is August really ending already? This year is going far too fast for me.

Be well.

This spread is a bit crazy. I found myself back in my boot in order to rest my ankle. I’d over done activities again.

After work on Saturday, Matt and I went to Target. I acquired a couple rolls of decorative packing tape – dots in pink and black. I also got a couple stampers with various sayings. You can hopefully read “What A Day” and “The Best” on the right page. I wasn’t on a flat surface so the stamping is wonky. Oh well.

Time to focus on this week’s craziness. Be well.

I had this all ready to post but I got sidetracked. I broke out some stickers and a bit of deco tape for this spread. I even doodled some. This feels more like my planner, no?

Be well.

My Plannerd Week 21

My apologies for not posting last Monday. Matt was off of work which can be my only poor excuse.

I used my Pilot VBall eco version quite a bit. Dreamt about the pen and then grabbed it out of my stash. It writes so nicely and liquid ink is dreamy.

My Plannerd Week 22

I bought the “Nature” set of Staedtler fineliners. I really like the colors. The “Pastel” set didn’t thrill me like this one. But you know I have to have them all. They work really well in the Paperblanks planner as you can see. Plus having some different colors is fun.

Been continuing on my reading streak. I haven’t done any art in a long time and it’s starting to worry me. I forgot how or at least I feel that way. Not good, I know. But at least my time is spent reading and not just staring into space or watching cruppy television I don’t like, right?

Be well.

My Plannerd Week Twelve

It’s hard for me to remember this past week. It’s a blur now. My ankle and leg are not used to my new job. I’m pretty sure my tendinitis has been joined by shin splints. It’s not fun but I’m determined to take this a day at time, take my Advil and do my best. I never imagined that car collision would still be effecting me so greatly. It reminds me that every action I make can impact other people, even strangers.

I’m going to go rest now. My third week of work begins tomorrow.

Be well.

My Plannerd Week Ten

Here is week ten. I used several different pens – ballpoint and gel. I love that the Paperblanks planner has better paper than Moleskine.

I have been hired on for a part time job. I interviewed on Wednesday and was overjoyed to get a call the next day. I dropped off my pre-employment paperwork on Friday and start tomorrow. My planner needs are bound to evolve in the next weeks so stay tuned. For now, I’m taking great advice – sticking with what has been working.

Be well.
